Belfast Ravens Caiti nominated as a NIWFA Player of the Year!

SO thrilled that Belfast Ravens player Caiti McCloskey has been nominated as a player of the year at the Northern Ireland Women's Football Association Awards Night on Friday 4th October!

Fingers, toes, arms, legs crossed for her, but no matter what, it’s been awesome to be a part of this brand new team this past year, and the recognition of this nomination alone is amazing! – HUGE congrats Caiti!

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Caiti McCloskey has been nominated as a player of the year at the Northern Ireland Women's Football Association Awards Night on Friday 4th October.

Unbelievably, Caiti had only played a little at primary school before joining the Ravens. But with real determination and hard work (and, in fairness, incredible speed), she soon became our main striker.

She went on to be score 13 competitive goals this season - needless to say, opposition managers, defenders and goalies always hated to see that she was playing! Unlucky for them - she was the only Raven to play every second of every game, not once ever running out of steam!

That said, she is extremely humble and a true team player. We’re incredibly proud of Caiti receiving this nomination and grateful that she’s a Raven 🖤

Crossing everything she leaves the event with some well earned silverware 🏆
